Children Having Meals with Parents are Healthier

According to the foreign news, there is a research shows that if the children having meals with their parents together, then it would be easier for them keeping fit.

In this research, Greek researchers ask the diet and body situation from the 1138 children from the age 9 to 13, and then certain the different five life style with five different type meals. Among these five meal type, there is one called main meal, cooked meal and vegetables, also most of the kids choose this meal type and eat more vegetables than others, they sitting with their parents together and eat mostly the hot vegetable dishes or the cool dishes but not the fast foods.


After the research, it is easy to find that comparing with the children who has the other four meal types with the same age, the ones who eat this main meal always has less fat but with a healthy body, and always those children has a healthy life style.


The researcher Doctor Mary from Athens points out that there is no enough data shows that the other four types their meal style has something related to their weight, but she says if the children having meals with their parents together, then it means the children follow the Mediterranean diet-which includes more vegetables, olive, whole wheat bread as well as fish.

The limit of this research is evaluating the children at the same time, and only the long-lasting research follows the children’s tracks can explain deeply the vegetable meal or the family meal can really decrease the possibility of the children becoming a fat. But in Mary’s research paper, the result shows that this vegetable meal is a preventive way to avoid the children fat, and they also writes that this way is also an unlimited eating way which can be accepted by almost the children.
